Abrasive Wheels “When The Punks Go Marching In” is
a mandatory 1982 UK Punk record. Seriously, if you don’t own that record and
you are somehow reading this, you need to stop and go buy that record.
Now that we have that covered, “Skum” was
originally released digitally in 2009. Rebel Sound Records, which is a united
effort by Black Hole and Skeletone Records, has seen fit to birth “Skum” in the
preferred vinyl format.
“Skum” is 31 years from 1982. So yeah, it does not
sound like "When The Punks Go Marching In". That said, it sounds much like modern day street punk. So the
band that influenced so many mohawks for the last three decades, sounds much
like the bands they influenced today!
Very melodic and very foul mouthed (it was tough
for me to find a song to play on Up To No Good Radio I did not have to edit).
Glad to see this see a vinyl issue. Available in
green (my color), pink and black.
Cheers
